Con una t\u00e9cnica de <strong>marketing mix<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de <strong>distintos medios<\/strong>, como la <strong>televisi\u00f3n<\/strong>, la <strong>carteler\u00eda f\u00edsica<\/strong> a pie de calle o la <strong>organizaci\u00f3n de eventos<\/strong> en colegios, estadios y clubes deportivos, <strong>NIKE<\/strong> cre\u00f3 la campa\u00f1a \u201cm\u00e1s <strong>comprensiva y exitosa <\/strong>a nivel global hasta la fecha\u201d, seg\u00fan su presidente <strong>Mark Parker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo el t\u00edtulo \u201c<strong>The Secret Tournament<\/strong>\u201d (pero m\u00e1s conocida como \u201c<strong>Scorpion KO<\/strong>\u201d o \u201c<strong>The Cage<\/strong>\u201d) la compa\u00f1\u00eda deportiva contrat\u00f3 a <strong>24 futbolistas de \u00e9xito<\/strong> del momento, organizados en 8 equipos de 3 jugadores cada uno, para competir en un <strong>torneo ficticio<\/strong> que ten\u00eda lugar <strong>dentro de una jaula de metal<\/strong>, todo ello supervisado y arbitrado por el controvertido y ya retirado <strong>Eric Cantona<\/strong>. Con las mismas reglas de dicho torneo (3vs3, una jaula y eliminatorias a un gol) se <strong>organizaron numerosos eventos<\/strong> en distintas capitales del mundo donde se <strong>repartieron CDs<\/strong> con los anuncios de televisi\u00f3n, pues internet no era tan accesible a todo el mundo entonces.<\/p>\n<p>Estos anuncios fueron <strong>dirigidos<\/strong> por el gran <strong>Terry Gilliam<\/strong>, de los <strong>Monty Python<\/strong>, lo cual es garant\u00eda de <strong>\u00e9xito y calidad audiovisual<\/strong>. Con <strong>una idea tan original<\/strong> de gui\u00f3n (<em>twist ending<\/em> incluido al final del campeonato), un director consagrado y deportistas de \u00e9lite como actores, <strong>necesitaban una banda sonora<\/strong> que coronara la campa\u00f1a y la hiciera resonar con <strong>la grandeza a la que aspiraba<\/strong>\u2026 y nada como la corona del propio <strong>Rey del Rock &amp; Roll<\/strong>: <strong>Elvis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La canci\u00f3n elegida fue <strong>Little Less Conversation<\/strong>, grabada por <strong>El Rey<\/strong> en 1968, y remezclada por <strong>Junkie XL<\/strong>. Esta <strong>versi\u00f3n <em>big beat<\/em> <\/strong>se incluy\u00f3 en el recopilatorio <strong>ELV1S 30 #1 Hits<\/strong> como pista 31 en el \u00faltimo momento debido al gran \u00e9xito que tuvo, alcanzando <strong>el n\u00famero uno en listas<\/strong> de infinidad de pa\u00edses, igual que el resto de temas del \u00e1lbum. Esta fue <strong>la guinda del pastel<\/strong> para <strong>una campa\u00f1a de marketing redonda<\/strong>, muy sonada en su d\u00eda y recordada en la actualidad, no solo por el <strong>gran trabajo audiovisual<\/strong>, sino porque <strong>la elecci\u00f3n de una banda sonora con la voz de Elvis <\/strong>ciertamente ayuda.<\/p>\n<p>Todo un <strong>himno incitando al movimiento<\/strong> con su \u201cmenos conversaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s acci\u00f3n\u201d al grito de:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Come on!
